Our Services

We currently offer two core services at The Huddle. Each is designed to provide thoughtful, evidence-based support in a warm, collaborative space.

One-to-One Therapy

Therapy begins with finding the right foundation. Our priority is to offer you a space that feels safe and containing; somewhere you can be honest, face what has felt too difficult to face alone, and find the courage to make the changes that will help you move towards the life you want.

We start with an initial assessment session of 60–75 minutes. A thorough assessment is something we invest real care in. The deeper our shared understanding of your difficulties, the more precisely we can tailor the work to what will actually make a difference for you. It is not unusual for this process to carry into a second session. The first couple of sessions tend to hold both assessment and intervention, as getting to know you and beginning the work often happen hand in hand.

Ongoing sessions are 50–60 minutes. Drawing on what we have come to understand together, and guided by your own hopes for therapy, we will work out what approach is most likely to help you. This is always in line with the evidence base and best clinical practice.

In the first instance, we usually recommend booking six sessions, spaced weekly where possible. This creates enough time and momentum for meaningful change to begin to take root. From there, we can review together how things are going. Some people make significant and lasting progress within a small number of sessions; others find that longer-term work is what serves them best. There are no fixed rules; therapy can be brief or more extended, and we will regularly check in on your progress and agree a duration that feels right for you.

To find out more about the evidence-based psychological models that inform this work, please visit the Approaches page. One-to-one therapy sessions are charged at £120 per session.

We also work with major health insurers (including Bupa, AXA Health, WPA, Vitality Health and Aviva). Please check with your provider regarding cover before booking. * If you are insured with a provider that is not listed above, please contact the practice as we can enquire with them.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision offered at The Huddle aims to provide a space that feels warm and open, somewhere you can bring things without needing to have them tidied up first. The case that's confusing you, the client who's under your skin, the moment that didn't go the way you'd hoped - there's no judgment here, only room to think.

That safety is what makes the harder work possible. Together we can sit with a formulation that isn't yet making sense, stay in the uncertainty rather than rushing past it, and bring a compassionate curiosity to what the client might really be up against and what your own interactions with them are quietly telling us. From there, we find a way forward that genuinely serves your client. Just as much, supervision is a space that holds you: your development, your confidence, the parts of the work that are quietly hard to carry alone.

My aim is that you leave each session having actually gained something; a little clearer, a little more courageous, and inspired to keep growing as a clinician.

Supervision sessions are charged at £95 per hour for qualified professionals, £85 per hour for trainees.
